Mountainside Exchange is a new Publix-anchored shopping center currently under development in East Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia. The 65,325-square-foot shopping center will feature a 50,325-square-foot Publix Super Market, approximately 15,000 square feet of inline retail shop space, and up to three outparcels totaling approximately 15,000 square feet designed to accommodate a mix of retail, dining, and service-oriented tenants.

Strategically located along State Route 515, the primary retail corridor serving Ellijay and the surrounding North Georgia region, the development offers excellent visibility and accessibility for both local residents and visitors. Mountainside Exchange is directly across Hwy 515 from The Highlands – a Walmart and Lowes Home Improvement anchored shopping center sharing a full access traffic signal entrance on the south side and a median break full access point on the north side of the center. Positioned near the Ellijay/East Ellijay line, the project is well situated to serve the area’s growing population and strong tourism market driven by North Georgia’s mountain destinations, apple orchards, outdoor recreation, wineries, and seasonal attractions.
