Blue Angel Plaza, Pensacola, Escambia County, FL, is a Publix anchored shopping center with 18,000 SF of shops and multiple outparcels. Publix Super Markets, Inc., purchased this development from VSI in 2022, and VSI executed the development on behalf of Publix on a fee development basis. This project was years in the making with a challenging entitlement process required to execute the development. The 45 acre property was encumbered by 20 acres of wetlands. VSI was successful in navigating the various agency requirements to obtain the necessary permits and execute this development. This development will open in March 2025.
